State Theatre of Ithaca, Inc. Celebrates One-Year Anniversary

The State Theatre is proud to announce our one year anniversary. Since last year the Theatre has hosted many successful shows, hired a new executive director, formed a new board of directors, and has made significant physical improvements to the building, both inside and out. The State Theatre is the crown jewel of the County’s arts community and attracts close to 50,000 patrons each. Our new and innovative business model is focused on taking less risk which should result in the ongoing stable operation of theatre. Our 2009-10 season will host an exciting array of world-class talent this spring such as David Sedaris, Shawn Colvin, Phil Vassar and Taj Mahal.
